Lake Powell ,the second largest man -made lake in US was named after John Wesley Powell, 獨臂美國內戰英雄，探險家。

建有發電水霸。遊船上裝有可以聽八種語言的耳機。

附近有火力（炭）發電廠，冒出三枝煙突(煙窗）。

Capital Reef National Park有幾種漢文翻譯。

一叫 圓頂礁，或是 國會礁脈國家公園，其實在描敘當地指標 的石頭山的形狀似國會大廈的形狀而已。
